I Personally love Percy Jackson books. They are well written an there are so many of them. the second series containing Percy and his Buddy's is called the Hero's of Olympus. the third book of this Fourth book in this series is coming out October eighth So soon!. so far only 2 movies of Percy Jackson have been made. the Lightning Thief and the sea of monsters. for any one who loves adventure and magic you don't want to miss this!
Now I will describe the characters so you can get a good image.
Percy Jackson AKA seaweed brain. Percy a natural swordsman who was given his personal weapon at the age of 12. this sword was magically engineered to turn from a ballpoint pen to a 3ft Celestial bronze sword. his looks are what you see in the picture. light tan skin, sea green eyes, and black hair. Backstory: Percy lived in an apartment in the lower east side of Manhattan. with his mom, Sally Jackson and his mean step-dad, smelly Gabe. Percy has ADHD and dyslexia. he has been kicked out of every school he has ever attended. all for weird and unexplainable reasons. For example in fifth grade he was being stalked on the by a huge man in a dirty drench coat. no one would believe him when he said the stalker only had one eye in the middle of his forehead. he got kicked out for bad grades and constantly got detention for things he didn't do. he is the demigod son of Poseidon the god of water. things that almost kill him happen every time he turns the corner. he is part of the great prophecy that could destroy the world.
Annabeth Chase has been at camp half blood her whole life. or since she was seven. but her back story is a little weird and scary. she ran away from home after she turned six and was found my another two half bloods who had also ran away, but were much older. Luke and Thalia. Luke was fourteen and Thalia was twelve. Luke was the son of Hermes and Thalia the Daughter of Zeus. They found her and took her in as family. they struggled to find their way to camp. monsters came after them every day and they almost died every day. eventually they made it there but with monsters at their tail. Thalia gave her life to stop them. he dad Zeus turned her into a pine tree that created a force field with her life force. Annabeth Found out She was a Daughter of Athena. the war and wisdom goddess. and she had a rocky relationship with Percy...if you know what I mean.
Luke is or was the head counselor of the Hermes cabin. He was the best swordsman at camp. until Percy came. Luke has a double edged Sword he calls Back biter. Half Mortal steel and half celestial bronze approx.. 4ft long. he has blue eyes and longish blond hair. he has a long scar going from his left eye to his jaw. he has terrible secrets that can destroy the camp and control the earth. if he will chose to use them you will have to see.
